Greetings! I'm Rahul Raoniar, currently working as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. My focus involves researching, writing, teaching, and public speaking on diverse road safety and transport psychology matters.
I'm a dedicated advocate of the Strong Towns approach, underpinned by my conviction in fostering resilient communities and urban development that centers around people.
My current interests revolve around the following:
Designing walkable and cyclable streets.
Enhancing safety measures for pedestrians and cyclists.
Advocating for child road safety.
Safe mobility for blind pedestrians and individuals with walking disabilities.
The high cost of free parking in Indian cities.
